Dr Persis Elavia has a collective clinical experience of 20 yrs within India, Australia and the UK. Completing her Masters in Orthopaedics and Manual Therapy from University of South Australia in 2001, she continued working in Australia as a private practitioner, involvement with teaching at UNISA and project management at Center of Allied Health Research, UNISA, which lead to publication in field of critical appraisal tools. Dr Persis Elavia has further worked as clinical specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist in NHS Trust as well as private practice in UK and has been a lecturer in physiotherapy at Brunel University, London.With her extensive knowledge in sports injury and musculoskeletal dysfunctions, Dr Persis Elavia now heads this chain of private out-patient practices along with her team. She specialises in holistic treatment approach using manual therapy techniques and newer advances in movement therapy. She provides and assists patients in a therapeutic rehabilitation program that not only enables patients to get better but also stay health and painfree in future too. Dr Persis Elavia boasts on not using electrotherapy which is an old school and ineffective physiotherapy approach.She has expertise in Manaul techniques i.e. Mulligans, Maitland, McKenzie, Musculoskeletal Taping and Movement Analysis and have given rise to newer methods of managing spine and limb pains through appropriate manual techniques and comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
