Dr Deepti Deshpande is a Masters in Veterinary Studies from Massey University, New Zealand in 2014. She completed her BVSc & AH from Bombay Veterinary College, MAFSU in 2010. Dr Deepti did her Masters in Veterinary Internal Medicine, with Cardio-Respiratory Medicine focus. In 2014 she presented her Master’s Thesis at the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Forum (ACVIM), 2014, at Tennessee, USA. In 2011 she won the Bayer Innovation Award, New Zealand for her unique idea that would contribute tremendously in preventing urinary catheter borne infections in critical patients.Dr Deepti was working at the Massey University Small Animal Hospital Emergency Centre for 2 years. In 2010, Dr Deepti did an externship at Belle Mead Animal Hospital New jersey, USA. She then did an externship at the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA in the departments of Small Animal Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Emergency and Critical Care, Ophthalmology and Surgery. She revisited the North Carolina State University in 2014 to upgrade herself with the latest advances in Cardiology and Emergency Medicine. Dr Deepti has a keen interest in Small Animal Cardiology, Internal medicine, Emergency and Critical Care. She has been pursuing these interests by attending several continuing education programs. She also took up several courses in pain management in small animals and aims to pursue her passion to reduce animal suffering.
