I am working as full time Gastroenerologist from November 2003 and have been involved from the inception of department. The work involves OPD, IPD and also Endoscopies.I usually perform about 120 -150 Endoscopies /month. At present we see full range of Gastroenterology and hepatology pts ie Cirrhosis , Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Acute and Chronic Pancreatitis, Chronic Diarrhoea and Peptic Ulcer pts. I am also handling al Gi emergencies ie Acute Pancreatitis ,Fulminant Hepatic Failure, UGI and Lower GI bleed and Hepatic encephalopathy.I am doing al diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopic procedures including Endoscopic Sclerotherapy,Endoscopic variceal Ligation ,Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy(PEG) polypectomy and Stricture Dilatations.
