About Zenibast-M Tablet

EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST is an anti-allergic medicine that is highly recommended for its effectiveness in preventing chest tightness, shortness of breath, wheezing, and coughing. This drug is also used for preventing shortness of breathing (bronchoconstriction) during exercise. EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST is also used for treating the symptoms of seasonal allergies, and allergic rhinitis in adults, and children 6 months of age and older.

An allergy is the natural response of the body against a foreign substance that may or may not be harmful. This is a protective mechanism of the body to keep a person healthy by fighting pathogens. Symptoms of an allergy include sore throat, hives, itching, burning ad many more.

EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST belongs to a category of medications named leukotriene receptor antagonists. It acts by restricting the effects of leukotrienes in the body. Leukotrienes are a natural substance delivered by the body in the response to certain 'triggers' that cause narrowing and expansion of the airways of the lungs.

Usually, a person can see improvement in their condition within a day after taking the medication. However, intake of EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST does not relieve the flare-ups of asthma that has been already been started.

EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST is an oral drug that needs to be ingested with or without food as suggested by the doctor. However, it works best on an empty stomach or with very light food. Swallow the tablet as a whole, with a colossal amount of water. Don't take an overdose of it to get the results quickly without asking doctors. Consult with your primary health care right away, if a person notices any unexpected side effects. If the side effects persist or get worsen with time, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST or any other ingredient present in it then, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to consult a doctor before using EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST. If you have serious renal or heart problems, vision problems, or if you are planning to be pregnant, please let your doctor know before taking EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST.

EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST is used to control the symptoms of asthma and hypersensitive rhinitis. Remember, this drug doesn't act as a permanent cure for these conditions. Keep taking this drug, regardless of whether you feel well. Try not to quit taking EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST without conversing with your doctor as it may cause drug withdrawal symptoms.

Medicinal Benefits of Zenibast-M Tablet

EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST is a leukotriene inhibitor. Leukotrienes are the natural chemicals that are released by the body when a person comes in the contact with an allergen, (for example, dust). These chemicals cause swelling in the lungs and constrict the airways, so a person finds difficulty in the airways. EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST is beneficial in preventing asthma attacks in grown-ups and kids as young as a year old. Additionally, it is used to treat the symptoms of occasional hypersensitivities in grown-ups and youngsters who are at any rate 2 years of age.

EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST is from a group of drugs called leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). It acts by inhibiting the production of leukotrienes substances in the body that are responsible for restricting your aviation routes. These synthetics are called leukotrienes. EBASTINE+MONTELUKAST helps prevent your airways routes from narrowing and makes airways clear for normal breathing.
