About Xtralite Mild Cream

AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN belongs to the class of drugs known as anti-acne medications. It is primarily used to treat acne (pimples), and wrinkles. It also provides nutrition to the skin.

AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN is a combination of two medications: Azelaic acid and Tretinoin. Azelaic acid is a naturally-occurring aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. It works by inhibiting the growth of susceptible organisms (mainly Propionibacteria Acnes) on the skin surface and inhibits follicular keratinisation thus restricts the development of comedones. On the other hand Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that loosen and unblock pores in the skin’s surface by reducing the oil secretion in the skin. This prevents the formation of pimples, whiteheads and blackheads.

AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN contains Azelaic acid and Tretinoin. Azelaic acid is a naturally-occurring aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. Directions for Use

AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN is available in topical (for skin use) gel, cream, lotion, foam and soap. AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Cream/Gel/lotion: Take the advised amount of gel/lotion/cream with clean and dry hands on the skin's affected areas. Gently massage the medicine into the skin with your fingers. Wash your hands before and after applying AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN. Do not put dressing or bandage on the affected areas. Cleansing bar/Soap: Work the soap into a nice lather and apply it on the affected areas with your hands. Gently massage in circular motions and rinse off with clean water. Foam: Apply a generous amount on to the affected areas with hands and massage it with fingers. Rinse off with clean water.

Do not use AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN if you are allergic to AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN or any of its components. Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney, gastrointestinal, and heart diseases before using AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN. Please inform your doctor if you are using any prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking, including vitamins, before starting AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN. AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN can make the skin change colour especially when the skin is dark in colour. It is recommended to avoid tanning booths and sunlamps. Do not apply AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN on the irritated and sunburned skin. AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN foam is flammable, keep it away from flames and extreme heat. Do not puncture or incinerate the AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN foam canister. Please limit the use of products that contain large amounts of alcohol (astringents, shaving creams or after-shave lotions), hair removal products, and products containing lime or spices while using AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN. Pregnant women should consult their doctor before using AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN since it may have harmful effects on the baby. It is essential to let your doctor know if you are a breastfeeding mother before using AZELAIC ACID+TRETINOIN since it may pass into the breast milk.
