CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE is a combination medicine used to treat irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcers, enterocolitis (swelling in the intestine), and symptoms related to intestinal infection. Irritable bowel syndrome is a common disease that affects the large intestine. Peptic ulcers are sores that develop on the stomach and intestine lining due to erosion of the stomach's protective lining.

CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE is a combination of four drugs, namely: Clidinium (anti-cholinergic), Chlordiazepoxide (benzodiazepine), Dicyclomine (anti-cholinergic), and Ranitidine (H2 blocker). Clidinium and Dicyclomine work by stopping the muscle contractions by relaxing the stomach and intestine muscles, thereby providing relief from cramps, discomfort, bloating, and pain. Chlordiazepoxide decreases abnormal and excess activity of the nerve cells in the brain by increasing a chemical messenger called GABA. Ranitidine works by blocking H2 receptors, reducing gastric acid secretion, and providing relief from acidity and heartburn.

Take CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE as prescribed. Swallow CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or crush the tablet. You are advised to take CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. You may experience certain common side-effects such as weakness, tiredness, dry mouth, nausea, constipation, and drowsiness in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE may have interactions with arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), gastrointestinal obstruction, glaucoma, infectious diarrhea, acute alcohol intoxication, drug dependence, autonomic neuropathy (nerve damage), respiratory depression, seizures, prolonged low blood pressure, depression, psychoses, obesity, high blood pressure, porphyria, fever, gastrointestinal bleeding, tardive dyskinesia (uncontrollable movements of the face), liver and kidney problems
