About Trophtha Eye Drop
Tropicamide + Chlorbutol is a combination of two medicines: Tropicamide and Chlorbutol. Tropicamide is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. Chlorbutol is a preservative.

Medicinal Benefits of Trophtha Eye Drop
Tropicamide + Chlorbutol is a medicine that helps to increase the size of the pupil of the eye so that eye examinations can be carried out thoroughly. Tropicamide + Chlorbutol also gives relief from eye pain by relaxing the eye muscles. This medication starts to work in minutes, and its effect usually lasts 24 hours or sometimes longer. It is advisable to inform your doctor if you continue to have blurred vision, sensitivity to light, or dilated (increase in size) pupils several days after your examination.
Directions for Use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
