Terfenadine is used in the treatment of allergic conditions.

There are some serious side effects associated with this medicine due to which the use of this medicine is not allowed.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Terfenadine may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Terfenadine may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
BREAST FEEDING
Terfenadine should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
DRIVING
Terfenadine may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
