About Siprid MPS 10mg/125mg Tablet
Cisapride + Methylpolysiloxane is a combination of two medicines: Cisapride and Methylpolysiloxane. Cisapride is a prokinetic that facilitates the movement of the intestines, thereby increasing the frequency of bowel movements, softening stools, and reducing abdominal pain/discomfort. Methylpolysiloxane is an antifoaming medicine that disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.Cisapride+Methylpolysiloxane is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux).

Cisapride + Methylpolysiloxane is a combination of two medicines: Cisapride and Methylpolysiloxane. Directions for Use
- Cisapride + Methylpolysiloxane is prescribed to get relief from acidity, heartburn, and other discomfort associated with acid reflux.
- Avoid taking soft drinks, and citrus fruits like orange and lemon, which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion.
- Do not take other indigestion remedies (antacids) without consulting your doctor.

Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity:
- Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water.
- Avoid spicy and fatty fried food.
- Lose weight if you are obese.
- If you are a smoker, consider giving up.
- Don't drink too much alcohol.
