Lax 5mg Tablet
PRODUCT DETAILS
About Lax 5mg Tablet
BISACODYL belongs to the group of medication called 'stimulant laxatives' used to treat constipation. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements in which the stools are often dry, painful, and hard to pass. A constipated person has fewer than three bowel movements in a week. It occurs when the large intestine's regular muscle contractions slow down, thereby causing the incomplete elimination of bowel from the body.
BISACODYL helps by increasing the intestinal movements, thereby facilitates stool passage. It is also used to clean out the intestines before a bowel surgery or examination.
