About L-Ortin 100mg/150mg Tablet
Pancreatin + Ornithine is a combination of two medicines: Pancreatin and Ornithine. Pancreatin is a pancreatic enzyme supplement. The enzyme helps in digesting food when it passes through the gut. It gets mixed with the food and improves digestion. Ornithine is an amino acid that belongs to the class of medications called nutritional supplements. It works by increasing the efficiency of energy consumption and promoting the excretion of ammonia.

BREAST FEEDING
No research work has been carried out till date on effect of Ornithine + Pancreatin on breastfeeding women. So it is not known whether taking Ornithine + Pancreatin will cause side effects or not.
LIVER
You may experience side effects on your liver after taking Ornithine + Pancreatin. If this happens, then discontinue its use. Consult your medical practitioner, do as he/she suggests.
KIDNEY
Ornithine + Pancreatin can have moderate side effects on the kidney. If you notice any harmful effects, stop taking this drug right away. Consult your doctor before using this medicine again.
