Medicinal Benefits of Isolin 2mg Injection

ISOPRENALINE contains Isoprenaline that stimulates certain receptors in the heart that increases the force and strength at which the heartbeats. Thus, it allows pumping the blood effectively around the body in conditions such as heart failure.

Directions for Use

ISOPRENALINE is injected into a vein, muscle, or into the fatty part of the skin. Also, ISOPRENALINE may be given as an intravenous (into a vein) infusion. A doctor or nurse gives $ name. Do not self-administer.

Drug Warnings

If you are allergic to ISOPRENALINE or any other anti-thyroid medicines, please tell your doctor. ISOPRENALINE is not recommended for children below 18 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor. Drive only if you are alert as ISOPRENALINE may cause dizziness. ISOPRENALINE should be used with caution in diabetic patients as it may increase the risk of high blood sugar levels. Therefore, if you have diabetes, inform your doctor before taking ISOPRENALINE. You are advised to inform your doctor if you are taking any vitamins, OTC medicines, or herbal products. Regularly monitor your blood pressure as ISOPRENALINE may increase blood pressure

Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction:

ISOPRENALINE may interact with medicine used to treat glaucoma (timolol), medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease (entacapone), high blood pressure-lowering medicines (metoprolol), corticosteroid (fluticasone).

Drug-Disease Interaction:

 If you have fast heartbeat, diabetes, thyroid, angina (chest pain) or heart block due to excessive digoxin in the body, please inform your doctor before taking ISOPRENALINE.

ISOPRENALINE may cause dizziness in some people. So, drive only if you are alert after taking ISOPRENALINE.

Take ISOPRENALINE with caution, especially if you have a history of Liver diseases/conditions. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor as required.

KIDNEY

Take ISOPRENALINE with caution, especially if you have a history of Kidney diseases/conditions. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor as required.
