About Goldpar Tablet
DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL belongs to a class of medications known as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) or pain killer. DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL is widely useful for the treatment of painful musculoskeletal joint conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL contains Diclofenac (analgesic) and Paracetamol (fever reducer/mild analgesic) effective against painful musculoskeletal pain, joint pain, and skeletal muscle spasms. Diclofenac works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which causes pain and swelling at the injured or damaged tissue site. On the other hand, paracetamol acts as a mild analgesic (mild pain reducer) and antipyretic (fever reducer), which enhances the pain relief action of Diclofenac. Additionally, it also helps to relieve toothache, ear pain, backache, and other musculoskeletal-related pain.
DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL can be taken with or after the meal. To avoid stomach upset DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL can be taken with food or milk. It should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets. Do not take DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL if your pain lasts for more than ten days or your fever stays for more than three days. Do not take a double dose if you missed one dose. Like all medicines, DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL may cause common side effects like stomach upset, dizziness, light-headedness, malaise, nausea, vomiting, and liver dysfunction (hepatitis), pruritis (itchy skin), rash although not everybody gets them. Stop taking this medicine if you experience symptoms like the tightness of the chest, breathing difficulties, fever, skin rashes, increased heart rate, and or in case of any signs of hypersensitivity.
Do not take DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL if you are allergic to painkillers like aspirin, paracetamol, naproxen, or diclofenac. Patients with asthma, prolonged bleeding time, wheezing (whistling sound during breath), and blocked airways (bronchospasm) should avoid using DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL. It is not recommended for use in children less than 14 years of age, people with liver disease, heart disease, or gastric ulcers/bleeding problems. DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL may be associated with a small increase in the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction).
Pregnant women should not take it during their last trimester of pregnancy. DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL is excreted in the breast milk so the nursing mother should contact the doctor before its usage. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may damage your liver and cause even more side effects on taking this drug. Consult your doctor if your symptoms of pain, inflammation, and fever do not disappear even after ten days. If you are using the topical form DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL you should avoid direct exposure to the sunlight as sunburn or photosensitivity might occur.

Medicinal Benefits of Goldpar Tablet
DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL plays a vital role in reducing pain and inflammation by blocking the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandin and cyclooxygenase) which causes fever and pain/inflammation at the injured site. DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL relieves pain and inflammation in arthritic conditions with the benefit of increased antibiotic penetration and micro-circulation at the injury site. Paracetamol has the advantage of producing lesser gastric irritation compared to other painkillers like aspirin. So, it is well-tolerated in mostly all age groups.
