About Flb Eye Drop

FLURBIPROFEN belongs to the group of pain killers known as NSAID's (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). FLURBIPROFEN is used to relieve pain, swelling and joint stiffness caused by osteoarthritis (a bone disorder that makes joints painful and stiff) and rheumatoid arthritis (inflammation of the joints). FLURBIPROFEN also relieves pain and inflammation due to ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis of the spine), swollen joints, frozen shoulder, bursitis (inflammation of the bursa), tendinitis (inflammation of the tendon, a tissue that connects muscle and bone) and tenosynovitis (inflammation of the covering layer of a tendon). FLURBIPROFEN is also used to reduce low back pain, sprains, strains, toothache, period pain, migraine, postoperative eye pain and inflammation. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body. Pain may be dull or sharp; it might be constant or may come and go. The tolerance level of pain might vary from person to person.

Uses of Flb Eye Drop

Pain and Inflamation.

Medicinal Benefits of Flb Eye Drop

FLURBIPROFEN contains 'Flurbiprofen,' which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).  It has analgesic (that relieves pain), antipyretic (reduces fever) and anti-inflammatory properties. It relieves pain, swelling and joint stiffness caused by osteoarthritis (a bone disorder that makes joints painful and stiff) and rheumatoid arthritis (inflammation of the joints). FLURBIPROFEN also reduces pain and inflammation due to ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis of the spine), swollen joints, frozen shoulder, bursitis (inflammation of the bursa), tendinitis (inflammation of the tendon, a tissue that connects muscle and bone) and tenosynovitis (inflammation of the covering layer of a tendon). FLURBIPROFEN is also used to reduce low back pain, sprains, strains, toothache, period pain, migraine, postoperative eye pain and inflammation. It inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that further prevents the formation of chemical messengers called 'prostaglandins' (PGs). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking COX enzyme's effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.

Directions for Use

FLURBIPROFEN is available in oral tablet, topical (for skin use) gel, eye drops and eye ointment. Tablet: Take FLURBIPROFEN with or without food. Swallow FLURBIPROFEN as a whole with a glass of water, do not chew or break the tablet. Topical Gel: Take a pea-sized amount of FLURBIPROFEN onto your finger and apply it directly onto the affected area and gently massage it in. If FLURBIPROFEN comes in contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately. Eye drops: Tilt your head back and pull lower eyelid downwards and outwards. Gently squeeze the dropper and put the eye drops inside the eye/eyes. Blink a few times to spread the medication inside your eye. Wait for about five minutes between each drop. If you wear contact lenses, please remove them before using the drops and wait for at least 15 minutes before wearing them back. Eye ointment: Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the eye ointment to your eye to avoid contamination. Please do not touch the ointment tube tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. Tilt your head back, look upward and create a pouch by pulling your lower eyelid down. Squeeze the tube gently and place a 1/2 strip of ointment into the pouch. Close your eye and roll the eyeball to ease the spreading of medication. Do not try to blink and avoid rubbing the eye. After using, wipe the tip of the tube with a clean tissue and close the cap tightly.
