About Elcet-Dec Syrup
Diethylcarbamazine + Levocetirizine is a combination of two medicines: Diethylcarbamazine and Levocetirizine which treat filariasis. Diethylcarbamazine works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of these worms while Levocetirizine decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness.Diethylcarbamazine+Levocetirizine is used in the treatment of filariasis.

Directions for Use
- Diethylcarbamazine + Levocetirizine should be taken with food at the same time every day.
- Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as medicine can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
- Your doctor may monitor your blood counts and liver function before you start taking this medicine and regularly throughout your treatment.
- Avoid being near people who are sick or have infections. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of infection.
- It is advisable to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome the medicine's side effects.
