About Takmide Eye Drop
Sulphacetamide + Chlorpheniramine Maleate is a combination of two medicines: Sulfacetamide and chlorpheniramine. Sulfacetamide is an antibiotic which stops bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial replication. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes.
Uses of Takmide Eye Drop
Sulphacetamide+Chlorpheniramine Maleate is used in the treatment of allergic eye disease.
Medicinal Benefits of Takmide Eye Drop
Sulphacetamide + Chlorpheniramine Maleate gives relief from symptoms of allergic eye disease such as redness, swelling, burning sensation, itching, and watering of eyes. You can us0 eSulphacetamide + Chlorpheniramine Maleate twice a day or as prescribed by the doctor. If you see no improvement even after a week, consult your doctor. Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with lukewarm water to reduce discomfort.
Directions for Use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
