About Sentim-SF Toothpaste

Stannous fluoride belongs to the class of medications called as cariostatic and antibacterial agents. It works by strengthening the teeth and reducing the effects of acid and bacteria on the teeth. It also promotes remineralization and arrests dental carries formation.

Uses of Sentim-SF Toothpaste

Stannous fluoride is used in the treatment of hypersensitivity, inflammation of gums and dental cavities.

Medicinal Benefits of Sentim-SF Toothpaste

Loss of the outer layer of tooth (enamel) may lead to exposure of the sensitive layer of tooth surface. This may cause extreme sensitivity to hot or cold food, fluids or even air. Stannous fluoride helps remineralisation of the lost protective layer of the tooth and helps in relieving this hypersensitivity of teeth to hot or cold stimuli.
