About Nevir -ER Tablet
Nevirapine prevents the multiplication of HIV virus in human cells, thereby stopping the HIV virus from producing new viruses.
Uses of Nevir -ER Tablet
Nevarapine is used to treat and control Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1) infection for adults, adolescents, and children of any age. It must be used along with other HIV medicines.
Medicinal Benefits of Nevir -ER Tablet
Nevirapine prevents the multiplication of HIV virus in human cells, thereby stopping the HIV virus from producing new viruses.
Directions for Use
- Take it as per dose and duration suggested by your doctor.
- If you miss a dose for more than 7 days, consult your doctor as dose modification may be required.
- You might notice skin reactions during the first 2 weeks of treatment. Inform your doctor if you notice a fever, swelling of face, mouth sores, blistering of skin and trouble breathing.
Side Effects of Nevir -ER Tablet
Rash, Headache, Agranulocytosis (deficiency of granulocytes in the blood), Vomiting, Allergic reaction, Nausea, Abdominal pain, Fatigue, Fever, Increased liver enzymes, Diarrhea
