LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL belongs to the group of medicines called anorectal preparations used to treat haemorrhoids (piles), anal fissures, and anal fistula. LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL relieves itching and pain and reduces bleeding and swelling associated with piles and anal fissures. Haemorrhoids, also known as piles, are the inflamed and swollen veins in the rectum and anus that cause discomfort, pain, and bleeding. An anal fissure is a small tear in the mucosa that lines the anus, which causes pain and bleeding during or after a bowel movement.

LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL is a combination of four drugs, namely: Lanolin, Lignocaine, Menthol, and Thymol. LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL relieves itching and pain and reduces bleeding and swelling associated with piles, anal fissures, and anal fistula. Lignocaine is a local anaesthetic that blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Menthol provides a cooling sensation, thus helping relieve pain. Lanolin is a moisturising agent that prevents irritation and keeps the skin moist, thereby allowing easy passage of stool. Thymol is an anti-infective agent that works by killing infection-causing micro-organisms. Thereby, LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL provides relief from pain and discomfort due to piles, anal fissures, and anal fistula.

Directions for Use

LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area. Wash your hands before and after using LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL. Take a pea-sized amount onto the applicator and apply it directly onto the anal area. Based on your condition, your doctor will decide how long you need to use LANOLIN+LIGNOCAINE+MENTHOL+THYMOL.
