Eberclin-M Cream
PRODUCT DETAILS
About Eberclin-M Cream
EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE is a combination medicine used to treat skin infections caused by fungi. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE is a combination of two drugs, namely: Eberconazole (anti-fungal) and Mometasone (steroid). Eberconazole works by preventing the formation of fungal protective covering, thereby stopping their growth. Mometasone inhibits the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Together, EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE helps in treating fungal skin infections.
EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE is for external use only. You are advised to use EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Do not use EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and the medicines you are taking before taking EBERCONAZOLE+MOMETASONE to rule out any side effects.
