Betamethasone + Lactic Acid + Salicylic Acid + Urea is a combination of four medicines: Betamethasone , Lactic Acid , Salicylic Acid and Urea which treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Lactic Acid , Salicylic Acid and Urea are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. They also enhance the absorption of Betamethasone into the skin.
