About Colinorm Drop
DICYCLOMINE+DIMETHICONE is an antispasmodic (spasms reliever) agent containing dicyclomine and dimethicone, primarily used for reducing pain due to cramps, spasms, and bloating. Abdominal spasms are the acute condition in which the stomach, abdominal muscle, and intestine contract severely. Stomach spasms can be caused due to muscle strain, dehydration, stomach gas formation, inflammatory bowel diseases (IBS), Gastritis and gastroenteritis, Ileus, gastroparesis, Infectious colitis, Inflammatory bowel disease, Ischemic enteritis and colitis, Stomach spasms during pregnancy, etc.
DICYCLOMINE+DIMETHICONE is a combination of drugs containing dicyclomine and dimethicone, primarily taken to get relief from abdominal spasmodic pain, bloating, and menstrual pain. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic, that helps treat spasms and pain by relaxing the muscles. It also blocks certain chemical messengers in the brain, which causes pain sensation. On the other hand, Dimethicone is an antifoaming agent, that helps to treat bloating, and releases gas more efficiently. DICYCLOMINE+DIMETHICONE help to reduce abdominal pain caused due to cramps, spasms, and gas formation.

DICYCLOMINE+DIMETHICONE is contraindicated when taken with antidepressants (amitriptyline, amoxapine, clomipramine, doxepin, desipramine), medicines used for heart problems (digoxin), anti-asthma (ipratropium), pain killers (ibuprofen, naproxen), and irritable bowel medications (propantheline, hyoscyamine).

DICYCLOMINE+DIMETHICONE is contraindicated if you have liver, kidney problems, irregular heartbeat, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), gastroesophageal reflux, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, benign prostate hyperplasia.
