BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE is a combination medicine used to treat psoriasis and dermatitis. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disorder in which skin cells multiply faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales. Dermatitis is generally known as skin inflammation which is characterized by red, itchy, and swollen skin.

BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE is a combination of two medicines, namely: Betamethasone and Zinc sulphate. Betamethasone works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Zinc sulphate acts as an antiseptic. Together, BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE helps in treating psoriasis and dermatitis.

Directions for Use

BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area. Take a pea-sized amount onto your finger and apply it directly onto the affected area and gently massage it in. Based on your condition, your doctor will decide for how long you need to use BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE.

Drug Warnings

Do not use BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE if you are allergic to any of the contents. Avoid using BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE on skin affected by the virus, fungus, bacteria, parasites, thin skin, acne, rosacea, ulcers, or broken skin. Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you use other medicines containing steroids, diabetes, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor before using BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE in more than prescribed doses or on a large skin area for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. BETAMETHASONE+ZINC SULFATE is not recommended for children.
