She was formerly Consultant at the Pediatric Critical Care Unit at Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital, Bangalore. She is currently leading the paediatric services at PEOPLE TREE's New branch at Dasarahalli- Raghavendra PEOPLE TREE hospital. She has a passion for caring for critically ill children; following her training in the UK she completed fellowship in Paediatric Intensive Care by securing the national first rank , conducted by the IAP. With over 10 years of practice she is known for her sensitive nature; effortless engagement with children and excellent communication skills. She has presented in multiple scientific deliberations and published in various international journals. She has authored FIRST TOUCH a book on new born care written for novice parents. The book has received excellent feedback from her patients. She enjoys teaching and training and is a certified clinical course instructor for Critical Care and Life Support courses and a trainer in Simulation Based Teaching. She has featured in various newspapers and TV channels for health educational awareness. For her contribution to medical field she earned NIRBHAYA AWARD during Women’s Day;2014. Apart from her clinical work she also dedicates time to Preventive and Community Child Care as a founder member of PEOPLE TREE FOUNDATION. She has worked actively on Childhood Nutrition and Child Safety. The LITTLE TREE fund created along with her team is dedicated to financially support those needy families of children admitted in ICU.
