He then Specialised in Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli, and Obtained DNB degree in 2010. He did a Surgical Vitreo-Retina Fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore ( 2010- 2012), Later he joined as a consultant at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore.He received an International Council of Ophthalmology fellowship in Ocular Immunology & Uveitis from Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore USA in 2014. He did an Observership in Ocular Oncology under Dr. Shields at Wills Eye Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA. He is well trained in Microincision vitrectomy surgery (MIVS) 25 & 23 Gauge. His areas of interest are Retinal Surgery, Diabetic Retinopathy, Endophthalmitis and Macular Degenerations.
