I am a highly motivated person who thoroughly enjoys the stress and challenges of interventional cardiology. I gain immense satisfaction in treating and curing various cardiac conditions. I also thoroughly enjoy research activities. I have gained more than 20 years of experience in india, uk and canada. After completing my mbbs and md in india, i ventured abroad and gained structured training in general medicine and cardiology in uk. I conducted research in hypertension, heart failure with eminent professors in uk. Then i obtained 6 years of structured general and interventional cardiology training in the prestigious cambridge deanery. I also was selected to obtain further interventional cardiology training from st michaels hospital, university of toronto, canada for one year. I have presented my research and clinical work in various european and north american cardiology meetingsi have vast experience in coronary angiograms/ angioplasty (radial/femoral), right and left heart catheterization, complex percutaneous coronary intervention including, primary pci, rotablation, left main stem stenting, cto (chronic total occlusion), bifurcation pci, peripheral angioplasty, ivc filter placement, ivus - intravascular ultrasound, oct –optical coherence tomography and ffr- fractional flow reserve, permanent pacemakers, balloon mitral valvuloplasty, percutaneous atrial septal defect closures and biovascular scaffold ( absorb) implantation.
