He is regularly performing surgeries on patients from across the globe. He received his postgraduate degree in General Surgery from G R Medical college, Gwalior. He is the first to have received fellowship training by National Board of Examination, Ministry of Health and Family welfare, India in Minimal Access Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College, a premier teaching institute in New Delhi, India. He was among the first to receive the prestigious Fellowship of International College of Laparoscopic Surgeons (FCLS) from Society of Endo Laparoscopic Surgeons of India in 2012. He was also awarded FMAS and FIAGES. He has numerous presentations in National and International Conferences and publications and is a National faculty in the field of laparoscopic surgery training.
