BIOTIN belongs to the class of water-soluble vitamin that's a part of the vitamin B family. Primarily used to treat uncontrolled hair fall. It also plays an important role in the health of your skin and nails. Hair loss (alopecia) can affect just your scalp or your entire body, and it can be temporary or permanent. It can result from heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of ageing. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it's more common in men. Mostly it occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

BIOTIN contains Biotin. It plays a crucial role in healthy hair growth and hair loss prevention by increasing keratin levels in our body. Directions for Use

BIOTIN is available in the form of a tablet. Take BIOTIN with or without food. Swallow BIOTIN as a whole with a glass of water, do not chew or break the tablet. Based on your medical condition, your doctor will decide how long you need to take BIOTIN.

Drug Warnings

Inform your doctor if you are taking prescription, non-prescription drugs and herbal products before starting BIOTIN. If you are known to be allergic to BIOTIN or its inactive components, please talk to your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking BIOTIN if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. BIOTIN should not be given to children unless prescribed by a doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol along with BIOTIN. BIOTIN is used with caution in dialysis patients, bleeding disorders, before and during surgeries, anaemia, liver diseases, and malabsorption (A condition that prevents absorption of nutrients).

Drug-Drug Interaction:

BIOTIN may have interaction with a medication used to treat bipolar disorder (carbamazepine), and medications used to treat seizers (phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone).
