About Ryzodeg 100IU/ml Flextouch

INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC belongs to the class of medications called ‘antidiabetics’ primarily used for the treatment of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. It maintains blood sugar levels in adults and children. In Diabetes Mellitus Type 1, the body does not produce enough insulin to regulate blood sugar levels. On the other hand, in Diabetes Mellitus type 2, either the body stops producing enough insulin (a hormone that helps lower blood sugar levels), or there is resistance to insulin action. As a result, insulin is produced in large quantities, but it is not capable of operating on the body's organs.

Medicinal Benefits of Ryzodeg 100IU/ml Flextouch

INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC belongs to the class of medications called ‘antidiabetics’ primarily used for the treatment of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC is a combination of two drugs, namely, Insulin Aspart and Insulin Degludec. INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC contains insulin aspart, which is a fast-acting form of insulin that helps lower blood sugar levels after food intake. INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC contains insulin degludec, which is a prolonged action form of insulin. It typically begins working after 60 minutes and is a long-acting insulin preparation (lasts for more than 24 hours). Together, they confirm rapid and stable sugar control by helping reuptake sugar in fat and muscle, and cells and suppressing the creation of sugar in the liver.

Directions for Use

INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC is available in the form of injection. INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC is injected under the skin, usually one time a day or as suggested by the doctor. If you are not well trained to self-administer INSULIN ASPART+INSULIN DEGLUDEC, ask a healthcare professional to administer it. Procedure for self-injecting insulin: • You should wash your hand first before injecting insulin. • Then roll the insulin bottle and wipe the bottle top. • Now pull the plunger of the syringe down to an appropriate number of units your doctor has prescribed. • Push the needle into the bottle and push the syringe plunger down. • Now once again pull the plunger down to an appropriate number of units as prescribed by the doctor. • Pick the injection site and wipe it with an alcohol swab. Now, pinch up the skin and push the needle into the skin and then push the plunger in. • The needle should be kept under the skin for at least 6 seconds to make sure the entire dose is injected. • After injecting the insulin pull out the needle and dispose of the syringe safely.
