About Mexacof PD Syrup
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine is a combination of two medicines: Dextromethorphan and phenylephrine which relieve dry cough. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide+Phenylephrine is used in the treatment of dry cough.
