About Hmg SP 75IU Injection
CAFFEINE+MECLIZINE belongs to the class of medications called ‘antihistamines’ used to treat motion sickness and vertigo. It is used to manage symptoms associated with motion sickness such as nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. It is used to treat dizziness and sickness caused by inner ear problems such as vertigo. Vertigo is a condition in which you feel everything around you dizzy - enough to affect your balance. In general, this condition is more than just dizziness.

Medicinal Benefits of Hmg SP 75IU Injection
CAFFEINE+MECLIZINE is used in the treatment of motion sickness and vertigo. It contains Meclizine and Caffeine. Meclizine is an antihistamine. It works by blocking the chemicals in the brain that cause nausea, vomiting, and loss of balance. It can cause drowsiness. Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant. It helps to overcome drowsiness that can be caused by meclizine.
Directions for Use
CAFFEINE+MECLIZINE is available in the form of tablets. Tablets should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Take this medicine one hour before travel to prevent motion sickness. The dose and duration are given by the doctor based on your health condition.

Drug Warnings
Before taking CAFFEINE+MECLIZINE, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney problems, asthma, glaucoma (inside pressure in the eye), and prostate gland enlargement. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or duration without your doctor’s advice. Avoid large amounts of caffeinated foods and beverages such as cola, coffee, chocolate, and energy drinks while using this medicine to avoid an overdose.
Drug Interactions
Drug-Drug Interaction:
CAFFEINE+MECLIZINE may interact with a quinolone antibiotic (ciprofloxacin), a medicine used to treat respiratory diseases (theophylline), an antidepressant (duloxetine), a medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease (selegiline), muscle relaxant (tizanidine), and medicines that induce sleep (clonazepam, diazepam, and lorazepam, etc.).
Drug-Disease Interaction:
CAFFEINE+MECLIZINE should be used with caution in patients with liver or stomach problems, anxiety, fits, insomnia (trouble sleeping), asthma, glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye), heart disease, and high blood pressure.

It is not advised to consume alcohol while taking CAFFEINE+MECLIZINE as it can increase the risk of side-effects such as drowsiness.
PREGNANCY
