About Groargin Tablet

L ARGININE belongs to the class of 'amino acids,' primarily used as a precursor that helps the body make proteins. It maintains the health and functioning of the immune system. L ARGININE is also used for angina (chest pain), peripheral arterial disease, erectile dysfunction, and high blood pressure and protein in the urine (pre-eclampsia) during pregnancy. Peripheral vascular disease is the narrowing of blood vessels that results in reduced blood flow to the limbs.

Medicinal Benefits of Groargin Tablet

L ARGININE contains L-Arginine that boosts the immune system. When taken as a supplement, the body converts L-Arginine into nitric oxide. This chemical widens the blood vessels and improves blood flow. This vasodilating action of L ARGININE also plays an important role in treating heart diseases that are caused due to arterial plaque build-up, blood clots, and platelet clumping. Thus L ARGININE helps treat high blood pressure, angina, and peripheral arterial disease. L ARGININE is also used to remove a waste product, ammonia, from the body and helps stimulate the release of insulin.

Directions for Use

Granules: Dissolve the advised amount of granules with a glass of water and consume. Effervescent tablet: Drop an effervescent tablet into a glass of water, wait until it dissolves completely, and drink. Tablet/Capsule: Swallow the tablet as a whole with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food at regular intervals, as prescribed by the doctor. Do not crush, chew or break it. Chewable tablet: Take the chewable tablet by mouth. Chew it completely before swallowing. Intravenous shot: Injection is injected into the vein by a nurse or pharmacist. Oral Liquid/Suspension: Measure the liquid with a measuring cup or a dosing syringe and take it as advised by the doctor.

Drug-Drug Interaction:

 L ARGININE may interact with angina medicines (nitroglycerin, isosorbide), blood pressure medicines (captopril, enalapril, losartan, valsartan, diltiazem, amlodipine, hydrochlorothiazide, furosemide), and medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (sildenafil).

Drug-Disease Interaction:

Use L ARGININE with caution and under medical supervision if you have gout, cirrhosis, kidney diseases, recent heart attack, low blood pressure, herpes, and allergic reactions to medicines. L ARGININE is not recommended for use in asthma.

PREGNANCY
