About Fuvestrol Injection
Fulvestrant is in a class of medications called estrogen receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of estrogen on cancer cells. This can slow or stop the growth of some breast tumors that need estrogen to grow.

Fulvestrant is used in the treatment of breast cancer.
Medicinal Benefits of Fuvestrol Injection
Fulvestrant blocks the action of estrogen on breast cancer cells. This can lower or stop the growth of some breast cancer cells that need estrogen to grow.
Directions for Use
The recommended dose of FASLODEX is 500 mg to be administered intramuscularly into the buttocks (gluteal area)slowly (1 -2 minutes per injection) as two 5 mL injections, one in each buttock,on Days 1, 15, 29, and once monthly thereafter

Drug Warnings
- It should only be taken by women who have undergone menopause and cannot become pregnant.
- It is given as a slow injection into the muscles (intramuscular) of your buttock.
- Inform your doctor if you have any bleeding disorder, kidney or liver disease or if you are receiving any medicines to prevent blood clots.
- Do not take Fulvestrant if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
