About Cererest 50mg Tablet
Fluvoxamine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder and is used for other conditions, including depression. Fluvoxamine is not FDA-approved for the treatment of any infection

Medicinal Benefits of Cererest 50mg Tablet
Fluvoxamine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorders.
Directions for Use
Fluvoxamine comes as a tablet and an extended-release capsule to take by mouth. The tablet usually is taken either once daily at bedtime or twice daily, once in the morning and once at bedtime. The extended-release capsule usually is taken, with or without food , once daily at bedtime.

- The addiction/dependence potential of Fluvoxamine is very less.
- Take caution while taking Fluvoxamine if you are using Benzodiazepines and MAO inhibitors previously.
- Fluvoxamine is when taken in combination with other drugs, leads to Serotonin syndrome. Avoid serotonergic drugs like triptans, lithium, and tramadol.
