Moolani's Eye Care Centre was set up by Dr Ashok K Moolani in 1990. It was his endeavour to bring International standards and advanced surgical skills back to his birthplace. He has been trained at the iconic Moorfields Eye Hospital London and returned to Pune after completing the most honourable fellowships in the field of Ophthalmology, FRCS Edinburg and FRCO London.His daughter, Dr Samita Moolani joined the practice in 2014 after completing training from the most prestigious institute in Western India in Cornea and Anterior segment surgery. She has a keen interest in community work and evidence based medicine.
