Dr. Nikhil S Ghadyalpatil completed his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Govt. Medical College, Nagpur.He was a gold medallist during his post graduate studies in Internal Medicine at Seth GS Medical College.He completed further speciality training in Medical and Pediatric Oncology at the Dr. Nikhil S Ghadyalpatil completed his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Govt. He has obtained further training in Hematology from the George Washington University, USA and also completed a fellowship in colorectal cancers.He is a recipient of the International Development and Education Award given by the American Society for Clinical Oncology.Dr. Nikhil currently practices at Yashoda Cancer Institute, Somajiguda as a full-time consultant.His main areas of interest and focus include lung, breast, colorectal cancers and solid tumours. Palliative care related advise is also an important aspect of care rendered.He volunteers his time and expertise at a couple of rural centres in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra for fixed days every month , so that it helps the underpriviledged get the basic cancer care.
