About Zoline Eye Drop

Naphazoline + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Zinc Sulfate + Chlorbutol is a combination of six medicines: Naphazoline , Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose , Chlorpheniramine Maleate , Boric Acid , Sodium Chloride and Zinc Sulfate . Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels in the eye, thereby reducing redness and inflammation (swelling). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort in the eye. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for red, itchy, watery eyes. Boric Acid and Zinc Sulfate are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation. Sodium Chloride is a purified salt solution which cleanses the eye and reduces swelling.
