About Supertol 450 SR Tablet

TOLPERISONE belongs to a group known as centrally acting muscle relaxant. TOLPERISONE used to treat acute musculoskeletal pain (pain within the body starts from muscles, bones, or joints). Acute musculoskeletal pain is pain perceived within an area of the body and assumed to occur from the muscles, joints, or bones in that area. Excluded from the definition is pain due to severe local causes, such as fractures, tumors, or infections, and general and neural reasons.

TOLPERISONE is a muscle relaxant. It works on the spinal cord and centers in the brain to relieve contraction or muscle stiffness without a decrease in strength. It increases the supply of blood to the muscles. This improves movement and pain of muscles.

Directions for Use

Take TOLPERISONE as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration of the medicine are determined by the doctor. Swallow the medicines as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it. You can take the TOLPERISONE after meals. Do not decrease or overdose on medicine.

Side Effects of Supertol 450 SR Tablet

Like all medicines, TOLPERISONE can also cause side-effects, although not everybody experiences them. Dizziness, sleepiness, diarrhea, sweating, abdominal pain, and weakness are the common side-effects of TOLPERISONE. Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these side-effects persistently.
