About Stavex 30mg Capsule
Stavudine is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
Uses of Stavex 30mg Capsule
Stavudine is used in combination with other anti-viral drugs in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection. It does not cure the infection, but prevents the spread of HIV and HIV-related illnesses such as suppression of immunity, cancer and other infections.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stavudine is to be taken empty stomach.

Stavudine should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Stavudine may be needed.
