About Oraset Dental Gel

CHOLINE SALICYLATE+LIDOCAINE is a combination of two medicines, namely: Choline salicylate and lidocaine. Choline salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), whereas lidocaine is a local anesthetic. CHOLINE SALICYLATE+LIDOCAINE is primarily used to treat mouth ulcers. Mouth ulcers, also known as canker sores are small, painful lesions that develop in the mouth or at the base of gums.

Choline salicylate works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger in your body, known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical 'prostaglandins' (PG). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Lidocaine blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby helping in decreasing the pain sensations. Together, CHOLINE SALICYLATE+LIDOCAINE helps in treating mouth ulcers.

CHOLINE SALICYLATE+LIDOCAINE is for external use only. Take a small amount of CHOLINE SALICYLATE+LIDOCAINE onto your finger and apply it directly onto the affected area. If CHOLINE SALICYLATE+LIDOCAINE comes in contact with the eyes rinse with water immediately. Directions for Use
