CITICOLINE+METHYLCOBALAMIN belongs to a group of medications called central nervous system/neuroprotective agents, used as a cognitive enhancing agent by protecting the nerves from damage and improving their survival. Cognitive enhancers are also known as nootropic drugs.

CITICOLINE+METHYLCOBALAMIN is a combination of two medications: Citicoline and methylcobalamin. Citicoline works by increasing the certain chemicals that protect the nerves from damage and improve their survival. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B. It works by lowering homocysteine levels, a harmful protein that increases blood clot formation and damages blood vessels in the brain.
