About Cido Tablet

CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE is a combination of anti-histamine and anti-emetic drugs, primarily used to treat Meniere's disease (inner ear disorder), which can cause vertigo (a spinning sensation or dizziness), ringing in the ears, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting, and loss of hearing. Meniere's disease occurs when the inner ear is affected and causes episodes of vertigo (spinning). It also leads to hearing problems and a ringing sound in the ear.

CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE consists of two drugs: 'Cinnarizine' (anti-histamine) and 'Domperidone' (anti-emetic). Cinnarizine belongs to the class of anti-histamine drugs. It blocks the effects of histamine (a chemical substance produced in response to allergy) in the brain to reduce symptoms of travel sickness. It is also a calcium channel blocker and improves blood circulation in the inner ear, thus reducing symptoms caused by vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), and Meniere's disease. Domperidone is an anti-emetic drug (eases vomiting symptoms) and dopamine (chemical messenger) antagonist. It works by blocking the action of dopamine in the brain, which causes nausea and vomiting. It also increases the movements and contractions of stomach muscles. Domperidone is also a prokinetic agent that controls acid reflux.

CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE is available in oral tablet formulation. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on the severity of your disease. Common side effects of CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE include drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth, indigestion, and weight gain. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.

If you use other prescription or non-prescription medicines, inform your doctor before using CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE. Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney, or heart diseases, Parkinson's disease, blood disorders (porphyria), and allergic reactions before starting CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE. CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE may cause weight gain in some cases, so avoid eating junk and eat a healthy, balanced diet, including home-cooked food. Consult your doctor before taking CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Avoid consuming alcohol along with CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE as it could lead to increased drowsiness.
