About Azofen T 200 mg/1 mg Tablet
Theophylline + Ketotifen is a combination of two medicines: Theophylline and Ketotifen. Theophylline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Ketotifen is a mast cell stabilizer which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that may cause inflammation (swelling), spasm of muscles of the airways and other symptoms of asthma and allergies.

Theophylline + Ketotifen is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier.

Safety Advice
ALCOHOL
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Theophylline + Ketotifen.
DRIVING
Theophylline + Ketotifen may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
During the first few days of treatment with Theophylline + Ketotifen the patient’s reactions may be impaired and he/she should, therefore, exercise care when driving a vehicle or operating machinery.
LIVER
Theophylline + Ketotifen should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Theophylline + Ketotifen may be needed.
