About Albro-M 200mg/10mg Tablet
Its primarily used to treat and prevent respiratory disorders like asthma attacks, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) and allergic rhinitis (hay fever). Asthma is a breathing problem in which airways narrow, swell and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases that mainly include emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes). Allergic rhinitis is an inflammation of the nose caused by an allergen, such as pollen, dust, mould, or flakes of skin from certain animals.
Uses of Albro-M 200mg/10mg Tablet
Acebrophylline+Montelukast is used in the treatment of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies.
Medicinal Benefits of Albro-M 200mg/10mg Tablet
Acebrophylline + Montelukast is a combination of two medicines: Acebrophylline and montelukast. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.
Directions for Use
Acebrophylline + Montelukast is available in the form of oral tablets. Your doctor will advise the dose and duration of Acebrophylline + Montelukast based on the severity of your disease. Montelukast is also available in the form of chewable tablets.Tablet: Use Acebrophylline + Montelukast as prescribed by your doctor. Take Acebrophylline + Montelukast with or without food and swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it.

ALCOHOL
Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Acebrophylline + Montelukast as it can worsen your side effects like drowsiness.
PREGNANCY
Acebrophylline + Montelukast is recommended to use with caution and under doctor's supervision during pregnancy since Acebrophylline in Acebrophylline + Montelukast may affect the unborn baby. Acebrophylline is not recommended during parturition (childbirth). Please consult your doctor if you are planning to conceive or already pregnant before starting Acebrophylline + Montelukast

Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience drowsiness or difficulty in concentrating while using Acebrophylline + Montelukast. Acebrophylline + Montelukast may affect your ability to drive. Seek medical attention if the symptoms persist longer.
