About Abzorb Syndet Bar
CLOTRIMAZOLE is primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and other fungal skin infections. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (flaking or scaling of the skin). CLOTRIMAZOLE works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. CLOTRIMAZOLE destroys the infection by allowing the holes to open in the cell membrane and the components to leak out. This kills the fungus and cures the infection.
CLOTRIMAZOLE should be used for skin only and accidentally if it gets into your eye, mouth, or nose rinse with water. CLOTRIMAZOLE should be applied to the affected area with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab. CLOTRIMAZOLE should not be applied more than the recommended dose, to avoid unpleasant side effects. Some common side effects of CLOTRIMAZOLE are burning, itching, redness, stinging, and dryness on your skin in the place where CLOTRIMAZOLE ointment is applied. Sensitive allergic reactions (skin hypersensitivity reactions) like rashes, itching, swelling, and hypotension can occur in rare cases. Please consult your doctor if an allergic reaction becomes severe.
Tell your doctor if you are known to be allergic to CLOTRIMAZOLE or any other medicines. It is not known whether CLOTRIMAZOLE harms the baby or passes into breast milk in pregnancy and breastfeeding state. It is better to contact a doctor before using CLOTRIMAZOLE during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. If nursing mothers are applying CLOTRIMAZOLE to their breast or nipple, they should wash the affected area thoroughly before nursing their baby.

Medicinal Benefits of Abzorb Syndet Bar
CLOTRIMAZOLE is widely used to treat various fungal infections of the skin due to specific fungi (Trichophyton species) and certain yeasts (Candida species) by destroying its cell membrane.
Directions for Use
The cream should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected area 2 – 3 times daily and rubbed in gently with a cotton swab or gauze pad. If the feet are infected, they should be thoroughly washed and dried, especially between the toes, before applying the cream.
Side Effects of Abzorb Syndet Bar
Every medicine has some sort of side effects. In the beginning days of the treatment with CLOTRIMAZOLE, you may suffer from burning, itching, redness, stinging and dryness on your skin in the place where CLOTRIMAZOLE ointment is applied might occur. But these would be temporary and may be relieved after some time. However, if you still have discomfort speak with the doctor. Allergic reactions (Cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions) such as rashes, itching, and swelling may occur in rare cases which is serious and can lead to a life-threatening condition. Please consult your doctor if an allergic reaction becomes severe.

Drug Warnings
Avoid putting CLOTRIMAZOLE near your mouth, lips, and eyes. This product contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (like contact dermatitis). Tell a doctor before using CLOTRIMAZOLE if you are using Framycetin and Dexamethasone ear drops as they can interact and affect the working of CLOTRIMAZOLE. If your baby is being treated for oral thrush you can continue breastfeeding. But in some cases, you might need to be treated at the same time. If you are applying CLOTRIMAZOLE on your breast or nipple try to wash it before breastfeeding your baby.
Drug Interactions
Drug-Drug Interaction:
CLOTRIMAZOLE may cause damage to latex contraceptives. Consequently, the effectiveness of such contraceptives may be reduced. Patients should be advised to use alternative precautions for at least five days after using this product.

No interactions have been identified with CLOTRIMAZOLE.
Safety Advice
ALCOHOL
No reported interaction with CLOTRIMAZOLE. But, It is best to avoid alcohol while taking medication.
PREGNANCY
CLOTRIMAZOLE is a category B pregnancy drug. CLOTRIMAZOLE can be used during pregnancy but only under the supervision of a doctor.
BREAST FEEDING
It is not known whether CLOTRIMAZOLE harms the baby or passes into breast milk in the breastfeeding state. So, it is better to contact a doctor before using CLOTRIMAZOLE during breastfeeding.
