Dr. Hemakshi Basu, post her graduation in Physiotherapy, started her carerer in Jan 1994, at some of the leading hospitals in Mumbai, after which, she enrolled for a post grad Manual Therapy Course, a specialized field in Physiotherapy at University of South Australia, Adelaide. On her return joined back at Sir H. N. Hospital where she now had a special unit for treating and managing musculoskeletal patients. Hemakshi`s keen interest on sharing knowledge and industry building coupled with the drive to change perceptions about physiotherapy, led to conducting a series of workshops, in diverse subjects of physiotherapy.
