Dr. Vijay K Rai won several awards during his academic days and was also the recipient of a paid fellowship in endoscopic ultrasound training at Asan Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea. This was part of the young endoscopist award bestowed on him by the Korean Gastroenterology Society. He has been involved in clinical research and has several publications to his name in peer-reviewed journals and medical updates. He has presented posters and delivered lectures at meets connected to his area of expertise. He is a member of several medical associations and serves as a governing council member of the society of gastrointestinal endoscopy of India.
