He worked as Consultant Psychiatrist at St Bartholomew's Hospital, UK for over Ten Years. He was actively involved in academic activities at Maudsley Hospital, London and was also Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College, London. He is also trained in Cognitive Behaviour therapy and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy. He has many publications under his name. He was awarded Clinical Excellence award in the UK three times.
