Completed undergraduateship in the year 1995 from Medical College,Calcutta.Was the first House staff to be trained in Paediatric cardiology in SSKM Hospital during the period 1996-1997.Entered as a post graduate diploma trainee in Chest medicine in IPGME&R, Kolkata in the year 1997. SSKM was supposed to have the best doctors of pulmonary medicine at that time. Completed my diploma in pulmonary medicine in the year 1999.Entered Medical College, Calcutta in the year 2000 as a post graduate trainee in General Medicine. Completed MD in Gen Medicine in the year 2003 from Medical college, Calcutta. Joined B M Birla Heart research centre in the year 2003 as a registrar in cardiology. Managed acute cardiac patients in the CCU as well as in the ward. Worked till 2004. Left for UK in 2004 for clearing PLAB & MRCP. Completed MRCP (UK) in the year 2005 and came back.Joined Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata as a senior registrar in non- invasive cardiology in the year 2006. Joined super-speciality DNB cardiology course in the year 2007; Cleared DNB cardiology exam in the year 2010 from G B Pant hospital, New Delhi. Joined as a junior consultant in cardiology in Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata from 2011. Joined Fortis Hospitals, Kolkata as a full time in-house cardiologist from April, 2012. Worked for a short time in Medica Superspecialty Hospital as a full time in-house cardiologist.
