Jagadesh Reddy completed his basic medical education from Kurnool Medical College, followed by a Residency in Ophthalmology from Regional Eye Hospital, Kurnool. He did a long-term fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment from L V Prasad Eye Institute, followed by a one-year Fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery from Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia, USA. He received the ‘Best of Show’ award for his video at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in 2012. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, International Society of Refractive Surgeons, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Cornea Society, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the All India Ophthalmological Society. He serves as a reviewer for many international Journals in his field. He has made several paper and poster presentations and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
